Ryan Wright (she/her), an attorney and business owner for a decade, is presently the managing attorney for ARWI Legal, PLLC a Texas law firm located in the Houston area, serving solution-driven & social impact organizations, startups, & entrepreneurs with business formation, contracting, and planning services across the state.


Prior to business law she co-founded and managed a six-figure boutique criminal defense and family law firm in Houston, TX. She was responsible for managing daily operations including supervising a staff of more than 10. She also designed, implemented, and managed their legal internship & paralegal externship programs that provided educational experience for active students and support for Firm activities & functions. These programs proved to be essential tools to achieving the Firm's strategic goals while training and producing new lawyers and paralegals to the market.

Who is Ryan Wright?

With "Service" as one of her core values, it's no surprise that she would be a founding member and the service committee chair of the Rotary Club of Innovation, a satellite club of the Rotary Club of Houston at The Ion Houston where she leads the Club's coordinated service projects and volunteer efforts. As a founding member of Rising Leaders, the Montrose Center's social and networking group for young professionals, she's actively involved in strengthening and making a positive impact on LGBTQ+ communities.


She also founded The Texas Greenhouse Project, a for-profit social enterprise creating housing, services, and solutions for LGBTQ+ kids in and young adults emerging out of foster care, while also empowering communities to build wealth through impact investing. To help on her mission to destroy the foster care to prison, homelessness, and trafficking pipelines by improving the quality and increasing the quantity of homes for the marginalized in foster care, she co-founded Serving Roses Charity Inc., and currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the nonprofit organization.

She holds a Doctorate degree in Law from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University, a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in English from Howard University, a license to practice law from the State Bar of Texas, and a host of other awards, titles, and associations.


An innovative business attorney, proud queer Black woman, and serial entrepreneur with proven abilities to build creative strategies and solutions for entrepreneurs and fill gaps in her community-at-large. As a natural ambassador and advocate for the marginalized, she is passionate about connecting starving entrepreneurs with resources and tools to legitimize, grow, and protect their companies, projects, and ideas.
